You don’t have to have everything figured out before reaching out.

At The Student Wellness Co., we provide prevention-focused emotional wellness support for children, teens, young adults, and families who want tools and guidance before stress or emotional challenges escalate.

Our work focuses on building emotional awareness, regulation, communication, and coping skills that can be used in real-world, everyday situations — at home, at school, and in the community. Sessions are practical, supportive, and short-term, with an emphasis on helping people feel more confident managing emotions and challenges independently.

We believe emotional wellness works best when families and support systems are involved, which is why our approach includes collaboration, clear guidance, and tools that extend beyond the session.

If you’re feeling unsure where to start, we’re here to help you find a clear, supportive path forward.

About Gabrielle

Gabrielle Wardlaw-Pfaff is a Licensed Professional Counselor, National Certified Counselor, Certified Clinical Mental Health Counselor, and School Counselor with over a decade of experience supporting students and families in school and community settings.

Throughout her career, Gabrielle has worked closely with children, adolescents, caregivers, and school teams to support emotional regulation, coping skills, social development, and adjustment to life changes. Her work has spanned elementary, middle, and high school settings, with a strong emphasis on early intervention, prevention, and collaborative care.

At The Student Wellness Co., Gabrielle provides short-term counseling and parent guidance with a focus on emotional wellness, stress management, grief and loss, peer relationships, and family transitions. She believes that supporting caregivers is a key part of supporting children and works to equip families with clear, realistic strategies that can be carried into everyday life.

Gabrielle values collaboration with schools and community partners and remains deeply connected to school-based mental health work. Her goal is to offer thoughtful, ethical, and compassionate support that empowers students and strengthens families.
